What is European Voluntary Service (EVS)?

European Voluntary Service (EVS) is an international volunteer programme funded by the European Commission that enables all young people aged between 18 and 30 years for a period ranging from 2 weeks to 12 months.

EVS is free of charge. Travel expenses, accommodation, food, health insurance and monthly allowance are covered. At the end of their EVS volunteers receive a certificate called Youthpass.

Volunteers participate in EVS through a sending organisation in the country where they live and a receiving organisation that receives and hosts them during their period of service.

Çankaya Municipality has been accredited to conduct EVS as coordinator, sending and receiving organisation.
